J.Tex is one of the most authentic and compelling voices on the Danish Roots, Americana, and Country scene. With his distinctive voice and skilled playing on guitar, banjo, harmonica, and fiddle, he creates a raw and honest sound that leaves room for both soul and storytelling.

Equally at home performing solo or with his long-time band The Volunteers – with whom he has toured and recorded for over a decade – J.Tex has released seven albums and a string of singles, always with a focus on musical depth and handcrafted quality.

His music is shaped by life on the road, with years of experience performing across Denmark, Europe, and the US. You can hear it in every note – this isn’t polished or predictable, but music that’s lived, felt, and real.
